GRADING THE TEACHERS

An Exploration into Teacher Evaluation

School districts around the country are working to find meaningful ways to address the challenging issue of teacher evaluations. Can a good and fair system be designed to measure teacher effectiveness? Can it be developed so that it becomes a tool to help teachers improve their performance? Grading the Teachers: An Exploration into Teacher Evaluation seeks to answer these questions using engaging interviews with 21 teachers, administrators, and professors from around the country. The documentary is organized into five different sections, each focusing on a different aspect of the teacher evaluation initiative: Key Features; Leadership; Trust; Hopes & Fears; Advice.
